Reed HR have partnered with a local charity who are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their close-knit senior leadership team.This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.This permanent position offers flexibility with hours, a hybrid working model, and ample room for professional growth. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and ready to dive in from day one.Due to a significant period of change within the charity, we are looking for an individual with a proven track record in managing transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure we attract and retain the best talent.
  • Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
  • Provide support and guidance to management and staff on HR-related matters.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Handle payroll and benefits administration.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
