A leading utilities organisation require a Supplier Manager. Applicants need strategic supplier relationship management experienced at an aggregator level, excellent stakeholder management skills and knowledge of contract management methodologies.
The Supplier Manager will join a team of high-performing and motivated post-signature procurement professionals, responsible for driving and cultivating supplier relationship management for the organisation. The ultimate aim is very much to establish, alliance-like relationships and ensuring that key supply partners have a vested interest in overall organisational success. The suppliers being managed support in the delivery of capital projects, although knowledge of this sector or the associated supplier landscape, will not be required.
Specific responsibilities of the Supplier Manager include:
- Development and execution of supplier relationship management strategies
- Develop used of aggregated supply chain performance
- Measure the heath of current supplier relationships through the use of SRM framework and toolkit
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and front end procurement colleagues in Category Management to drive improvements in supplier performance, supplier collaboration and supplier innovation
- Lead on supplier and contract management governance activities for approved suppliers
- Drive 360 feedback and relationship management strategy with stakeholders and suppliers
Supplier Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in a post-signature focused procurement role, supplier relationship management, vendor management or contracts management
- Experience of aggregator / strategic-level supplier relationship management
- Experience or exposure to; governance, compliance, risk and process in a procurement, supplier management or contract management role
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, externally and internally
- A passionate, motivated self-starter
