About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Systems Accountant to join our Finance team and shape the team's Workday based systems. It is an exciting time to be joining as we transform the way our Finance team works. HL has an ambitious agenda, and in this role you'll play a key role in ensuring HL fulfils its strategy.

What you'll be doing

  • Using your knowledge of Workday Financials and/or Workday Adaptive Planning you'll not only improve the HL Finance team's ways of working, but also improve the quality and usefulness of the information we provide to the business.
  • Utilising adoption planning, you'll keep abreast of new features across the Workday releases and manage the design and delivery of the Finance systems improvement roadmap.
  • You'll take ownership of access management and incident management across Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring security and change management controls are adhered to and evidenced.

About you

  • Demonstrable understanding of finance operations and experience in finance data management and reporting. An accounting qualification will be supportive in your success within this role (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven track record of using Workday Financials and/or Workday Adaptive Planning to improve finance processes, overcoming complex challenges within Workday.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident in communicating systems issues to stakeholders at all levels across the business.

This will be a two-stage interview process.

Working Schedule

We are looking for a Finance Systems Accountant to join our team, based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
