Reed is pleased to be partnering with a global Engineering company recruiting for the position of Head of Financial Accounting within their UK Shared Service Center Financial Accounting team. This is a 100% home-based role, managing a team of three accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of three accountants.
  • Oversee UK SSC management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Handle month-end reporting, IFRS16 lease accounting, internal trading, intercompany loans, and reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of annual corporation tax packs and related party transactions.
  • Liaise with auditors and assist with ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Professional accountancy qualification. (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot tables and formulas.
  • Experience with accounting software, ideally Oracle.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large data volumes.
