Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company with a fantastic name within their industry based in South Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£50,000 - £60,000 plus hybrid remote working and wider benefits package

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Overseeing the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly management accounts and commentary, highlighting progress against Business Plan and KPIs and make financial recommendations
Manage the annual short-term and medium-term business planning process, including annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting. Support board decision-making through monthly analysis of budget and forecast variances and reporting against business plan
Analyse and report relevant financial and commercial information (e.g. service profitability, customer profitability, pricing, etc) to support business decision-making
Support company financial strategy and decision making by identifying opportunities for greater operational efficiencies and margin improvements, risk assessment and mitigation
Providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions
Monitoring and forecasting cash flows
Overseeing a weekly payroll of staff
Analysing business changes and offering advice to drive continuous improvement
Developing and implementing financial and administrative management systems
Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, bankers, and regulatory bodies
Preparing accurate and timely financial reports to meet business and statutory deadlines

Person specification:

CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualified
Experience creating and reporting monthly management accounts
Confident communicator across all levels
Intermediate level Excel
