Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for an Interim Accounts Assistant for a business based in South Bristol. This assignment will be for a period of 2 - 3 months, with a possibility of becoming permanent. You'll be joining a small, friendly team and there is plenty of parking available.
Role: Accounts Assistant
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (Hourly rate equivalent)
Duration: 2 - 3 months
Start date: Flexible
Location: South Bristol + Free parking
Working pattern: 37.5 hours a week, office based
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the purchase ledger
- Maintaining the sales ledger
- Credit control duties - Chasing for debt, sending out statements etc
- Bank reconciliations
- General office administration
- Additional ad-hoc tasks to support the wider team
Skills/Experience needed:
- Previous experience in a varied finance position is ideal however experience in managing purchase ledger as a minimum, will also be considered
- Computer literate
- Team player - Willing to help the team and get stuck in
- Happy being in the office daily
- Studied/studying AAT - Desirable but not essential
