Role: Service Chef - FED 313, Gloucester Rd, BS7 8PE

Key Responsibilities

As a service chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of a busy service kitchen cooking fresh breakfast & brunch products to order and working in a small team to ensure delivery to the highest standard. Post holder will be working with 2 or 3 prep chefs on duty, managing prep lists, stock management, ordering and opening and closing the kitchen.

  • Ensure all breakfast and brunch based products are made consistently and in accordance with FED standards and specs.

  • Exemplify confidence in working within a small kitchen team to deliver quality products prepared consistently to our standard.

  • Ideally candidates will be looking to assist in the development of the menu working alongside our senior management team to deliver fresh and seasonal specials.

  • Ideally candidates will be looking to develop leadership skills to progress into a leadership role exemplifying fantastic organisation, communication,and people management skills with a passion for driving quality whilst contributing to the seasonal menu changes.

  • Confident in working in a busy environment on service exemplifying effective management, clear and concise communication working with a calm demeanour .

  • Assist in the preparation and service for our catering events.

  • Ensure that the kitchen cleanliness is kept to a high standard in line with company policy and the food safety management book is kept up to date ensuring we are following safe and legal practices.

  • Fantastic working hours usually 7:30am - 4pm.
