The Venn Group is seeking a Commercial Consultant with SC clearance and UK sole nationality for an initial 3-month contract, likely to be extended.
The daily rate for this position ranges from £320 to £350.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a commercial role within the Defence sector.
Responsibilities include developing Statements of Requirement, producing tender documentation, and managing procurement activities in accordance with MOD policies.
Experience with NEC contracts is desirable but not essential.

Brief overview

You will bring extensive commercial experience and best practice from other government departments and private sector experience. You will assist in the exchange of knowledge, development and training of civil servant commercial capabilities.

Responsibilities

Helping customers with Statement of Requirement development, KPIs etc.
Production of tender documentation
Production of Commercial Strategy/Procurement Strategy
Engagement with market and Identification of routes to market
Advertising requirements and running procurement activities in accordance with MOD Commercial Policy and Procurement Regulations.
Evaluation activities
Contract award process, contract drafting and Contract Management activities

Essential Requirements

Commercial Consultant with a background in Defence (essential)
2 Years + experience in Defence in a commercial role

NEC experience (desirable)
