Your new role
Hays is working with an educational organisation in Bristol. They are looking for a credit controller on a temporary basis for 3 months. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (35 hours a week). Pay for the role is 14.53 per hour + holiday. Minimum 1 day per week in office - Tuesday as standard. Flexibility to attend on other days as required, and with advance notice. Main duties of the role include:
- Communicate with debtors to follow up on outstanding debt - using both email and telephone
- Identify debtors requiring contact
- Responding to incoming queries
- Support commercial debt management process as instructed by the credit control manager
What you'll need to succeed
- Credit control experience
- Ability to work flexibly and with changing priorities
- Ability to communicate clearly and authoritatively, but also sensitively, with debtors; and to help resolve complex issues around payment
- Comfortable working at pace
