We are currently recruiting a Senior Instalments Credit Controller. The chosen candidate will contribute to the delivery of Instalment Credit Management’s objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through the timely and effective performance of duties, maintaining standards, building effective relationships and providing supervisory support to the Instalments Team Leader.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Undertakes instalment credit control activities, in accordance with the defined processes, to ensure prompt premium payment and to achieve agreed KPIs.
  • Handle internal and external instalment customer queries in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Ensure policy and procedures, workflow for assigned areas of responsibility, as well as archived records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements are maintained.
  • Ensure instalment process and operational activities are adhered to within regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret and analyse complex data and financial information, and using this to make informed decisions.
  • Assist with training new instalments team members on procedures and best practices, serving as a mentor and resources for ongoing learning and development.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Good knowledge of credit management best practice and the ability to apply this in the role.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of all relevant Compliance and Regulatory rules and procedures, FCA and banking rules and regulations.
  • CICM qualification to certificate level Experience
