Have you got great UK classroom experience, looking for a flexible role to work around family life or another part time role. We are a recruitment agency that work with a large number of schools and academies in the south west, including in Bristol. A number of our schools are seeking to appoint enthusiastic teaching assistants, who have a wealth of UK classroom experience, to join them on a supply basis.

In addition to supply work, we can offer full time, permanent work, working school hours, term time only.

Duties:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities- Provide support to students with special needs, including working with individuals on the autism spectrum- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom- Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed- Assist with daily tasks such as preparing materials, setting up learning centres, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom.

Requirements:

- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children learn and grow- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care
