Your new companyOur client is the UK's largest non-advisory investment service for high net worth and experienced investors, with over 65,000 members. They provide a full nominee service on behalf of the underlying investors and are responsible for all corporate actions, resolutions, pre-emption matters and other shareholder communications. They are now looking to appoint someone to support the Direct Investment Team with all deal and nominee related administration; this is a first-time appointment and is an office-based role in Clifton, Bristol, requiring attendance five days a week.Your new roleThis role includes direct involvement in private company share allotments, client money transfers, obtaining share and tax certificates, checking SH01 filings as well as ensuring that nominee obligations are managed, such as checking resolutions for shareholder approvals.Specific responsibilities of the role include:

  • Company secretarial duties and ensuring our nominee obligations are performed to a high standard.
  • Ensuring subscription agreements are fully countersigned/executed
  • Checking tax and share certificates
  • Checking companies house and SH01s
  • Helping to maintain the internal investment management system
  • Updating client information with new share prices and exits
  • KYC and AML checks
  • Assisting client services teams with client questions regarding deal administration

What you'll need to succeedYou will have previous experience in a similar role; company secretarial or legal training would be highly beneficial but not essential if you can demonstrate previous experience in this area. It is essential that you have excellent record keeping and attention to detail.
