Assistant Finance Manager

The Role: Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering effective business, financial, and payroll-related activities. After a 6-month induction period, your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day support to Finance and Business Managers across all areas of the organization. Additionally, you’ll serve as the Line Manager for a team of 6 Finance professionals.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Xero Accounts software or a similar platform
- Proficiency in all aspects of payroll management (minimum 3 years)
- AAT Level 3 or higher qualification
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint)
- Previous experience in Line Management (managing a team of 6)
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with DEXT
- Knowledge of Trello
