Head of Sales - Bristol (Hybrid) - B2B Consultancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Sales to join a leading B2B consultancy specialising in providing consultancy services and Learning & Development (L&D) solutions to the education sector.
This is a leadership role, overseeing a high-performing and engaged sales team of 14, and is based in Bristol two days per week (with increased presence required in the first 5-6 weeks).
The Role:
The Head of Sales will be responsible for leading, developing, and driving the performance of the sales function, ensuring continued growth and success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales leadership, with a proven ability to measure, manage, and enhance sales performance.
While experience in the education sector is not required, a deep understanding of B2B client acquisition strategies and leadership best practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, providing coaching and strategic direction.
- Drive sales performance through effective measurement, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and refine sales processes to maximise efficiency and revenue growth.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute the company’s sales strategy.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in B2B sales leadership, with a track record of delivering results.
- Strong ability to measure, drive, and improve sales performance.
- Proven experience in managing and developing sales teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth.
- Based within commutable distance to Bristol, with the flexibility to be in the office 4-5 days per week for the first 5-6 weeks, then transitioning to two days per week.
Package:
- Base Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
- OTE: £20,000
- Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in Bristol (after initial onboarding period)
