Summary:
We are seeking an Office 365 Governance and Engagement Specialist to lead the creation, implementation, and oversight of policies and procedures for the roll out of the national tenant Office 365 (n365)
The role will also need to ensure robust governance, compliance, and due diligence is adhered by users when utilising the n365 environments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all users across the Trust understand the new policies and know how to use the applications effectively
- Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive policies, procedures, and guidelines related to n365 usage, governance, and security.
- Developing and delivering clear, accessible training materials and sessions to educate staff on the proper use of n365 tools (such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive) in line with governance and security requirements.
- Gather data through user surveys, feedback sessions, and system usage analytics to assess engagement levels and confirm that users are following the policies correctly.
- Ensure policies align with NHS standards, data protection laws, and best practices, including but not limited to GDPR, NIS (Network and Information Systems) Directive, and the Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
- Address specific governance issues such as data sovereignty, records management, access control, data retention, and email security.
Essential Experience Required:
- Extensive experience of working with Office 365 administration, governance, and compliance within a complex organisation, preferably within the healthcare or public sector.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing IT governance policies and procedures.
- Experience managing compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR, within Office 365 environments.
- Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
