Description
The role of Transport Administrator in Bristol will involve:
- Running the transport desk by effectively briefing and debriefing drivers.
- Ensuring all driver and delivery paperwork is present and completed correctly.
- Managing POD paperwork.
- Downloading tachographs and monitoring driver hours.
- Ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and company policies.
- Liaising with the warehouse team.
- Meeting and exceeding KPI targets.
Working hours:
- 4-on 4-off shift pattern 6am-6pm
Profile
A successful Transport Administrator should have:
- Previous experience working in a busy transport office environment.
- Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and procedures.
- A solid understanding of WTD/driver hours compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, preferably having used TMS and WMS.
- A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
