Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC, boilers, pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Ensure the reliable operation of heating, cooling, and water systems to support the healthcare environment.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to breakdowns, minimising downtime and maintaining essential healthcare services.
- Carry out fault-finding, repairs, and installations on a range of mechanical equipment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team and other engineers to maintain optimal performance of mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and healthcare-specific regulations.

Requirements:
- Fully qualified mechanical engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with experience in building services maintenance.
- Strong background in maintaining mechanical systems such as HVAC, boilers, pumps, and ventilation.
- Experience working in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) guidance for healthcare environments.
- Ability to work shifts, including early, mid, and late rotations.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Valid UK driving licence.
