We're on the lookout for a dynamic Product Owner to join our team for a 6-month temporary contract, reporting directly to the Head of Product Management.

Role: Product Owner

Duration: 6 Months (extension options)

Location: Plymouth (Remote 1 day a month on-site)

Rate: £500 per day (umbrella)

About the Role:

As a Product Owner, you will report to the Head of Product Management and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our digital product strategy. You'll drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of digital solutions that meet both customer needs and business objectives. With your expertise, you'll foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and a culture that embraces Agile principles throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vision & Strategy: Develop, maintain, and communicate a clear and compelling product vision and strategy aligned with our business goals.
  • Roadmap Management: Create and maintain a roadmap that outlines prioritised features, enhancements, and deliverables, owning the success of your assigned digital products.
  • Backlog prioritisation: Manage and prioritise the product backlog to balance customer-facing features with technical improvements and debt, all aligned with commercial KPIs.
  • User-Centric Design: Champion user-centric design principles in collaboration with UX/UI designers to ensure exceptional user experiences.
  • Quality Assurance: Define acceptable levels of quality for product development, promoting iterative and incremental delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality digital products.
