Research Delivery Officer - Law - Bristol or Manchester - Would suit an information graduate

A highly respected, national law firm requires a Research Delivery Officer to support their range of horizon scanning services that are delivered directly to key and strategic clients. This is a hands on role working alongside Knowledge Lawyers, stakeholders within the firms innovation programme and clients, to review the content they receive for the horizon scanning reports, review edit, and upload new content to the portals on a regular basis. This is a key role keeping the client horizon scanning products up-to-date with new content and ensuring the successful and smooth running of service they provide to their clients. Another key responsibility of the role is to provide support to the Knowledge Lawyers in managing their extensive range of internal training sessions on the training management system.

The key responsibilities and objectives include, but are not limited to:

  • The provision of administrative support to the knowledge team.
  • Exporting content from content aggregation systems, reviewing and categorising data, escalation of key content to Knowledge Lawyers, uploading content to the client knowledge portal
  • Content management
  • Prioritisation, management, and distribution of client facing knowledge products
  • Supporting Knowledge Lawyers with KnowHow management
  • Supporting on project work and other tasks when required

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Customer service skills and technical skills
  • A high level of IT literacy, with a focus on Excel and working with large spreadsheets, databases & portals
  • HighQ or Manzama experience would be a distinct advantage.
  • Exceptional time management, planning, and organisational skills, a methodical approach, and attention to detail
  • An ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the legal and /or commercial sector is preferable but is not essential as full training will be provided.
