Pertemps Bristol is currently recruiting for Sewing Operatives in the Yate area.
- 40 hours a week working Monday-Friday
- Working 08:00-17:00
- £11.94 Per Hour
- All specialist clothing will be provided
As a Sewing Operative your duties will include:
- Use sewing machines to sew or decorate clothing and other products.
- keep machines stocked with thread, position material under needles, and guide their stitching to sew parts together.
- When a product is finished, measure each item to ensure accuracy.
The successful Sewing Operative will hold the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 1 years' experience sewing garments on industrial sewing machines.
- Ability to alter garments for different specifications.
- Strong knowledge of hand sewing techniques.
- Ability to read patterns and instruction sheets.
- Experience maintaining industrial sewing machines
