We are seeking a full time SEN TA to join an outstanding Catholic Primary school in Bedminster, South Bristol. A culturally diverse school that embraces all religions, positive relationships are central to both learning and wellbeing and they operate with their values at the core of all decisions.
About the role:
- Providing support to children with special educational needs
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working one-on-one with students who may require additional support
- Support student progress to ensure each child reaches their full potential
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive school community
- Ability to adapt to individual students and their requirements
