Your New Role

In this role, you’ll make a significant impact by supporting a pupil on a 1 to 1 basis who has SEMH and ASD needs. You will need to be someone with a lot of patience and encouragement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for named children with Educational Health Care Plans.

  • Implement effective strategies to encourage positive behaviour and learning outcomes.

  • Assist with day-to-day learning, both in class and during personal development activities.

  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

About You

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a patient and fair approach to every child.

  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently, as well as take direction when needed.

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary setting is a plus.

  • Positive, forward-thinking, and with a great sense of humour
