Procurement Sourcing Assistant

Sourcing Assistant Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the procurement team to identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.* Conduct market research to evaluate new and existing suppliers, identifying cost-saving and quality improvement opportunities.* Assist in developing procurement strategies that drive efficiency and value. * Track and analyse procurement data to identify trends and improvements. * Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies. * Monitor delivery schedules and resolve supplier issues to maintain smooth operations. * Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure best practices are followed. What We're Looking For: * 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier management. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks efficiently. * Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards. * Working towards a procurement or supply chain qualification (desirable).
