REED HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage our day-to-day HR processes and procedures. This role reports directly to the Senior Finance and Admin Manager and Directors, and is crucial in aligning HR strategy with business goals.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
  • Apply HR and business knowledge with appropriate decision-making skills.
  • Advise managers on terms and conditions of employment and share best practices.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Monitor and review HR policies, making necessary changes.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate student social work placements and maintain HR trackers to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Provide HR induction for new employees and support the management during probation periods.
  • Offer supervision to other members of the Business Support Team and cover Admin Support duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree level education is desirable.
  • CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proven HR experience of three to five years.
  • Strong communication, conflict management, and ethical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and multitask effectively.
