Posted 2 months ago
Location

Bromsgrove, Worcestershire B61 8EX, England

Salary

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Contract type

Full Time

Halcyon are proud to be working closely with an exceptional therapeutic residential children's care provider based in the West Midlands.  Their bespoke ethos focuses on understanding and addressing the underlying needs of the young people they support, rather than their behaviours and difficulties. The company was created nearly a year ago by two close friends with decorated backgrounds in both children’s psychology, social housing and care. Since opening their doors, their first home has gone from strength to strength, having just received its first “Good” Ofsted rating within 12 months. Following this fantastic achievement, they have made the exciting decision to open their next home, which will be a brand-new 3-bed learning disabilities service, based in a stunning setting in Bromsgrove.

As the Registered Manager of this new home, it will be your responsibility to work closely with both directors to help create a supportive, comfortable, and safe setting for the children the live and thrive. You will have the opportunity to build your staff team around you and the autonomy to manage your team in the most effective way possible, ensuring the highest levels or care and practises are always followed.

To be successful in this position, you’re expected to have a demonstrated understanding of overseeing a children’s home previously and be able to evidence successful Ofsted inspection ratings. You must be a confident, fair leader, with the ability to take control in testing situations and have the experience and knowledge expected of a senior Registered Manager. As the Registered Manager, you will be directly responsible for the day to day running of your home and will be required to have a sound understanding of Ofsted ratings and regulations.

In return for your full commitment to this position, you will be offered an annual salary of between £45,000 to £55,000 depending on your experience. You will be joining a team with a decorated history in the care sector, enabling you to grow your knowledge and experience through additional training and group work. This role also offers the autonomy and guidance to develop and take your career in the children’s sector to the next level. If this sounds like the perfect role for you, we look forward to your application and discussing it further with you.
