Due to continued growth, I am recruiting for an Assistant Estimator to join a leading healthcare construction company based in Brough, East Riding of Yorkshire.

You will be joining a driven and experienced team with specialist knowledge in their core sector, which is bespoke healthcare schemes. Their approach focuses on customer satisfaction and delivering value through fast-track delivery without compromising on the quality of the finished product for their clients.

The role of an Assistant Estimator:

  • Reviewing pre-construction information packs to ascertain project requirements.
  • Carry out the tender process to prepare tender submissions.
  • Taking off quantities and preparing subcontractor and supplier enquiries.
  • Evaluate drawings, specifications, schedule of works and B.O.Q.

Requirements of an Assistant Estimator:

  • Estimating : 2 years minimum.
  • Experience working in construction for a similar size company.
  • Experience carrying out the tender process to prepare tender submissions.
