The company values innovation and continuous improvement, striving to minimise its environmental impact while ensuring business continuity.Your new roleAs the SHE Manager, the primary objective will be to champion the Environmental Management System. The role ensures that workplace practices prioritise environmental sustainability and comprehensive reporting. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining effective safety protocols, fostering a culture of environmental awareness and compliance, and minimising the environmental impact of operations.What you'll need to succeed

  • Environment Management Certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IEMA). (Essential)
  • Degree in Environmental Science. (Advantageous)
  • Accreditation by an approved Environmental association (e.g., IEMA). (Preferred)
  • Extensive experience with SHE roles, preferably in medical or healthcare industries.
  • Knowledge of HSE legislative frameworks in Europe and the UK.
  • Expertise with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Executive-level communication, safety program development, employee training, online systems proficiency, and strong computer skills.
  • Understanding of Green gas reduction program requirements.
  • Requirements for Permanent UK RTW, local expertise in UK and Ireland legislation.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and review SHE policies.
  • Drive environmental initiatives and reporting.
  • Conduct audits and provide regulatory advice.
  • Assess SHE risks and cultivate environmental awareness.
  • Manage Environmental and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001 and 14001).
  • Implement global digital systems for SHE management.
  • Develop waste management strategies.
  • Track sustainability metrics and report on performance.
  • Address training needs and conduct onboarding.
  • Manage statutory environmental reporting.
  • Measure emissions and implement carbon footprint reduction plans.
  • Produce quarterly SHE performance updates.
  • Utilise Enabling Risk Management system.
  • Serve as SME for Internal Audits.
