We are hiring technical associate product owner to support our clients senior product manager to support internal customers by creating experiences enabling change and shaping the internal product offering.
In the role of product owner you will share responsibility with the rest of the product team for delivering on the product roadmap ensuring optimal availability, performance, security, usability and developer experience.
As an individual contributor, you will not have any direct reports. You will report to the Product Director.
This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week on site in Burgess Hill.
Some of the problems we will work on include:
路 Ensuring our reference implementations are aligned to American Express software best practices, guardrails, and standards.
路 Protecting and enhancing the Developer Experience (DX)
路 Drive market adoption across our global customer journeys
路 Introduce and evangelize IaC (Infrastructure as Code) experiences built for EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service)
路 Reduce complexity through automation and simplification of provisioning and managing our software experiences.
As our technical associate product owner, you will:
路 Translate the product roadmap into minimum viable product iterations.
路 Quickly become an expert in the problem space - relying on relationships with Subject Matter Expects (SMEs) to ensure development is fully informed.
路 Delivery compelling narratives to align and inspire stakeholders, collaborating teams and our own engineering team.
路 Partner across organizational units to drive capability globalization and market adoption of platform capabilities where appropriate.
路 Ensure that the appropriate tracking and reporting is in place to track performance post launch to evaluate future investment.
路 Enable analytical decision making. Produce Return Off Investment (ROI) analyses and optimization recommendations for roadmap.
路 Work closely with the technology team to develop, test, deliver the defined capabilities, and rapidly iterate innovative solutions.
路 Identify risks, challenges, opportunities, and business integration needs.
路 Perform Demos and Launch Announcements with key team members to demonstrate success and metrics of improvement.
路 Understand and apply the latest trends and methodologies.
