About Us: Veritas are seeking a part time year 4 teacher in a welcoming primary school in Burnley. The school are dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment where every child can thrive. The committed staff work collaboratively to inspire and support their students in their academic and personal development.

Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Year 4 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work alongside another teacher who covers 2 days a week, and play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of their students. If you are dedicated to making a difference in young lives and creating a love for learning, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the national curriculum requirements.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and school community.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents and caregivers regarding student progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, preferably in Year 4.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to raising standards.
