SEN TA - Burnley:

Prospero teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience supporting children with SEN to join one of our schools near to Burnley.

You will be supporting children with complex needs in small groups and on a 1-1 basis. This role is to start in January for a long-term position.

Position Details:

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
  • Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
