We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and motivated SEN Nursery Practitioners to join our team at a nursery school in Burnley. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children with special educational needs (SEN) in a nursery setting.
  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities that cater to individual needs.
  • Support children's development and learning through observation and play-based activities.
  • Work closely with other practitioners, parents, and external agencies to ensure each child's needs are met.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Support children with daily routines, helping them to achieve independence where possible.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent) - essential.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable).
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them to reach their full potential.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to the needs of each child.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake).
