The successful candidate will have support from the current Business Development Manager before they retire from the business. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Business Development Manager will work with the Sales Manager to drive and develop sales within the High-Speed Door sector to achieve the specific KPI's outlined within sales strategy.
- Review and assess enquiry documents, in order to produce product quotations within group CRM system to achieve the desired market price level.
- Work closely with the High-Speed Door Sales Manager to ensure we are supplying our best offer to the customer, to maximize opportunities of converting to order.
- Professionally represent the company to promote and enhance its reputation.
- Follow up allocated quotations with a view to securing sufficient order intake in line with individual targets. Communication commentary to be recorded within the group CRM system.
- Develop/maintain relations with new and existing customer base within target market sectors.
- Undertake and record site surveys for High-Speed Door products, to ensure surveys are recorded accurately for both quotation integrity and comprehensive handover to the Operations Team.
- Contribute to the development of a sales plan focusing on target market segments with the aim of maximising order intake and contributions across the customers product range.
- Increase market awareness and promote the company's brand.
- Identify market opportunities and help design campaigns targeted at the HPD relevant market stakeholders.
- Present product innovations and project proposals to customers.
- Support sales team at exhibitions, conferences, workshops.
Requirements:
- It is essential that candidates have experience in sales within High-Speed Doors. No other industries considered.
- Experienced Business Development Manager who has proven success in developing a customer base in the High-Speed Door sector
- Experienced in developing new business within this sector
- Flexible in travel as this could involve some national travel and the occasional nights away from home
- A good understanding of using CRM systems.
- Experienced in MS Office
