The role

Vision for Education is working with a client school in Lincoln to recruit for a reliable Cooking Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in food preparation and a love for working in a school environment.

As a Cooking Assistant, you will support the school’s catering team in preparing and serving meals to students and staff. Your duties will include helping with food preparation, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, assisting with the daily running of the kitchen, and ensuring that food is served in a timely and hygienic manner.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of Cooking Assistant, you will:

• Have an interest in cooking and food preparation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
