An Interim Project Engineer is needed for an initial 3-month period to support a production increase, with a competitive day rate and the role being outside IR35.
Candidates should have excellent PLC skills for program adjustments and fault-finding, along with mechanical skills to assist the maintenance team.
Experience in a live manufacturing environment, particularly with Electro-Mechanical equipment and a focus on electrical maintenance, is required.
The role is Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm, with some flexibility needed, and ideally, candidates should come from an FMCG background.

We are seeking an engineer with excellent PLC skills who can adjust programmes accordingly and fault find. You will also need mechanical skills to support the wider maintenance team. Working in a live manufacturing Environment
Maintenance of Electro-Mechanical manufacturing equipment with PLC’s
Electrical maintenance Bias - Mechanical maintenance knowledge advantageous
Familiar with LOTO process of work

Skills

Working knowledge and self-sufficient ability with PLC’s and sensors / inputs-outputs ( Ideally Omron but intro training available )
Problem solving within Electro-Mechanical systems in live manufacturing equipment
Proactive support of manufacturing operations teams to maintain manufacturing throughput
Hands-on RCCA (root cause corrective action) style
