Interim Project Engineer required for initial 3 month period to support Production Increase. This role is outside IR35 and has a competitive day rate. We are seeking an engineer with excellent PLC skills who can adjust programmes accordingly and fault find. You will also need mechanical skills to support the wider maintenance team. Ideally you will come from an FMCG background. This role is Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm, but some flexibility may be required to support the project. Experience
  • Working in a live manufacturing Environment
  • Maintenance of Electro-Mechanical manufacturing equipment with PLC’s
  • Electrical maintenance Bias - Mechanical maintenance knowledge advantageous
  • Familiar with LOTO process of work
Skills
  • Working knowledge and self-sufficient ability with PLC’s and sensors / inputs-outputs ( Ideally Omron but intro training available )
  • Problem solving within Electro-Mechanical systems in live manufacturing equipment
  • Proactive support of manufacturing operations teams to maintain manufacturing throughput
  • Hands-on RCCA (root cause corrective action) style
