Female Mental Health Support Workers
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP30
Salary: 12.50ph - 13.38ph
Job type: Temporary
Start date: Immediate start subject to satisfactory References and DBS
Shift type: Days and nights available including weekends.
Barker Ross Health and Social Care are currently recruiting for female Mental Health Support Workers to help support women who have a Mental Health need and/or a diagnosis of personality disorder.
People may also have other Co - Morbid diagnoses such as mild learning disability and co - existing physical health condition or be transitioning from CAMHS services.
You will have NHS or private sector experience working within Complex care and mental health services.
You will use your knowledge, experience and training to make a positive difference to the lives of woman with an emerging or personality disorder.
This can be a challenging role at times so experience is essential.
Day to day will look a little like:
- Ward rounds
- Analysing behaviours
- Adapting care accordingly alongside colleagues
- Updating patient records
- Providing excellent care and support
- May have to assist in some personal care
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following training.
- STMVA/PMVA
- Oliver McGowan
- NEWS2
- In date mandatory and practical training required for rehabilitation services within Mental Health Support Work
- Enhanced DBS
You will also need:
- The right to work in the UK - No sponsorship available
- Experience working with Females in acute Mental Health settings
