Senior Private Client SolicitorLocation: Bury / HybridSalary: Competitive, based on experienceAn established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (5+ years' PQE) to join its dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex and high-value estates, trusts, and wealth planning matters, advising a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals.The Role:
  • Drafting Wills and assisting clients with estate planning.
  • Managing the administration of estates, including applying for Grants of Probate.
  • Providing expert advice on inheritance tax, estate planning, and trust structures.
  • Assisting with the preparation and administration of trusts.
  • Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting detailed correspondence.
  • Writing articles and legal updates for social media and client engagement.
  • Managing a caseload with supervision, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Assisting senior colleagues with complex cases and high-value transactions.
  • Ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ years' experience in Wills, Trusts, and Probate law.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with supervision.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of private client legislation and procedures.
  • A client-focused approach, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships.
  • A team player, eager to learn, develop, and contribute to the firm’s success.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to work effectively to targets and deadlines.
  • Experience handling high-net-worth clients or complex estates is desirable.
