Role Overview:We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Food Technology Teacher to join the team on a maternity cover basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring a love for cooking and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and interactive Food Technology lessons.
- Encourage students to develop practical cooking skills and nutritional knowledge.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and organised classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Passion for promoting healthy eating and culinary skills.
