Excitingly, Tradewind is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and committed SENDCo to seize an attractive opportunity at a respected primary school in Bury. Starting ASAP, this role extends until the end of the academic year, with exciting possibilities for further extension.

This is a part-time position, commencing 3 days per week.

The competitive pay rate for this position is between £150 and £210 per day, depending on experience. Your commitment is required for the remainder of the academic year.

SENDCo/ SEND Teacher The successful teacher will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high achieving SENDCo/ SEND Teacher class.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee the identification and assessment of pupils with SEND within the school
  • Develop and implement IEPs and EHCPs for pupils with SEND
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to create a collaborative and supportive environment for pupils with SEND
  • Evaluate the impact of interventions and support services to ensure effectiveness
  • Work closely with external agencies, such as educational psychologists, health professionals, and local authorities, to access additional support and resources for students with complex needs

Essential Requirements:-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)-Excellent references to support previous experience as a SENDCO or SEND teaching
