Flk Recruitment is currently partnering with a fast-paced Manufacturing client business that is lookingto appoint an experienced HR Manager based at their Buxton site in the Peak District.

This role would suit someone commuting from the following areas: Leek, Macclesfield, Stockport, Sheffield, Mansfield, Chesterfield or the surrounding areas.

This is a site-based role with an element of travel across the UK to support Supply Chain and Logistics.

This broad HR Manager role is an opportunity for you to partner with some key business stakeholders at the company's flagship plant and work with a dynamic, progressive and engaging management team.

Your role will be to deliver people programmes in a wide range of areas such as change management, talent attraction and development, inclusion and diversity, employee engagement and business improvement initiatives.

This is not a role with a huge amount of Employee Relations as you might expect in this industry. The focus of the role is more on developing technical talent onsite, talent management, succession planning, driving manager development and also Early Careers Development for the site.

To be considered for the role you will ideally have the following:

Experience working as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner within a Manufacturing, Engineering or similar environment

Excellent track record of partnering with Trade Unions

A genuine passion for people and a desire to make a difference

Great stakeholder relationship skills

Someone with a positive approach, an eye for detail and a good sense of humour is a must also!
