A leading construction firm in the Treforest area of Pontypridd is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their busy office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience, ideally with knowledge of the construction industry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily office operations to ensure the smooth running of the business.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, scheduling, and filing.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to support project coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records, including project documentation and compliance reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
  • Support the finance team with basic invoicing and purchase order tracking.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained.
  • Work closely with management to implement and improve office processes.
  • Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office management role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Knowledge of the construction sector is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset to support the team effectively.

Hours of work:8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
