Job Title: Shift Supervisor
Location: Caerphilly
Pay Rate: £29000

Duties: You will be responsible for supervising the night shift at the warehouse, driving continuous improvements and optimizing performance. Key duties include managing inventory, overseeing warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage and supervise a team of Circa 6 employees
- Manage the depot to ensure all required standards and expectations are met.
- Report back to Head Office as and when required eg Warehouse Manager, HR, Operations Director etc
- Lead and oversee warehousing and transport, coaching and developing the team to create a high-performing and efficient culture
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, transport, inventory control, and floor productivity
- Carry out daily/weekly briefings & toolbox talks
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximise productivity and minimise errors
- Identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and use of space
- Utilise ERP system to maximise efficiencies in receiving product, and method of delivery
- Develop KPI's that accurately depict the health of our warehouses (cost, quality, service)
- Ensure that systems and reporting provide end to end visibility of stock movements from inbound supply to outbound shipments
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular inspections
Ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional team
- Ability to lead and instigate change
- Deep knowledge of warehouse management strategies and systems of work.
- Driving License
Available shift patterns & Benefits:
- Nights - Monday - Friday 10pm - 7am
