Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer

Farnborough

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

A global Electronics manufacturer are looking for a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team developing products for a multitude of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers, within analogue, digital and PCB design and assisting junior engineers and apprentices.
  • Take the lead in planning and developing new electronic hardware designs
  • Collaborate with multiple teams on a technical level to ensure development and improvements.
  • Combination of hands on and technical expertise to ensure development

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree level in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering
  • Industrial experience in an electronics design & development function
  • Good analogue/digital/mixed signal circuit design
  • PCB Design and layout (e.g. Altium)
  • Experience with low power digital systems
  • EMC Design and validation
  • Experience with prototyping and laboratory test equipment.

Nice to have's:

  • Experience in FPGA Design
  • Embedded C, C++
  • Knowledge of Linux OS
