Junior Office Administrator

A successful engineering company offering an extensive range of products and services globally is seeking an additional member for their administration and finance team. This full-time position involves assisting the office manager with day-to-day accounts and office duties. As part of a small business, the role will encompass a variety of tasks beyond the standard job description to support the entire operation.

The appointed Junior Office Administrator will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to facilitate the responsibilities outlined below. Additionally, they should be proactive, identifying opportunities to assist the office manager with supplementary administrative tasks.
 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing orders for shipping and coordinating deliveries
  • Processing purchase orders and invoicing customers
  • Updating and maintaining the internal product tracking system
  • Booking travel arrangements, including itineraries for general customer trips and exhibitions
  • Processing supplier invoices

Requirements

  • Proficiency in calculating percentages
  • Strong working knowledge of office applications
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small team with a flexible and adaptable approach
