RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Clinical Procurement Manager you will actively support the Head of Procurement in delivering excellent procurement services that supportclinical development activities, as well as support functions.
Key duties will include:
- Identifying and vetting new potential suppliers.
- Operating procurement governance models with our key suppliers, including: drafting Master Service Agreements, review and approval of Work Orders, tracking of benefits delivered.
- Monitoring compliance with procurement policies.
- Providing training to employees on procurement processes.
- Negotiating better pricing / other terms (including later payment terms) with suppliers.
- Tracking and reporting Procurement Key Performance Indicators (operational and financial metrics).
QUALIFICATIONS:
As Clinical Procurement Manager you will require:
- A relevant science or business degree.
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical / CRO industry in a procurement / alliance management capacity though which a network of contacts will have been created.
- Proven experience inclinical research procurement.
- Evidence of significant value delivery in previous roles.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
BENEFITS:
Base salary of 45.000-70.000, plus excellent benefits.
