Customer Service Specialist (Account Ops) Temp to Perm
Location: Bar Hill, Cambridge (On-site)Salary: £27,000 per annumHours: Mon-Thurs 8:00am 4:45pm, Fri 8:00am 12:30pmContract: Temp to Perm (3-6 months, likely to become permanent)
Our client is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team. As part of this exciting role, you will be the key contact for customers, ensuring their orders are processed efficiently, queries are answered promptly, and relationships are built and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing customer orders and updating internal systems
- Building and maintaining relationships via email and Teams
- Handling queries, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer support
- Collaborating with Production & Purchasing teams to meet order deadlines
- Processing purchase order changes, credit/debit notes, and quotations
- Assisting with sales forecasting, stock audits, and production meetings
- Identifying and escalating any potential issues
What They're Looking For:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales support
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (this is essential!)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Manufacturing, SAP, or technical drawing experience is a plus!
