Reed Cambridge Business Support is working with a local business in Cambridge. They are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of their Human Resources department. This role involves managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate employee records, and providing comprehensive support to both the HR department and their employees. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this position is crucial for maintaining their HR processes and systems.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain and update all employee records on the HR and Payroll databases.
  • Streamline workflows by updating the HR system.
  • Provide information services to directors, managers, and employees as required.
  • Produce standard HR-related correspondence such as salary reviews and maternity confirmations.
  • Assist managers with document preparation and report generation using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Support recruitment processes by liaising with agencies and managing CV logs.
  • Attend and take notes in disciplinary meetings and bi-weekly operations meetings.
  • Coordinate induction and exit interviews for employees, and book training courses as needed.
  • Manage administrative tasks throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous HR experience is desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in HR processes and systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
