An opportunity to work for a beautiful riverside college, based in central Cambridge, doesn't come around often.

We have partnered with the HR Manager to find an HR Coordinator who will join her team, handling all HR administration for the college, as well as offering ad-hoc support to the Bursar.

  • Ongoing Temporary position, minimum of three months
  • £15 - £17 per hour
  • Start date required of 4th November
  • 30 hours per week - 9am - 4pm, Monday-Friday
  • This is a fully on-site role

This role would be perfect for an individual who already has experience working within a HR function, is self-sufficient and confident with lone working, strong administration skills and happy to juggle a multitude of tasks.

Some of the duties involved are:

  • Producing HR letters and contracts of employment
  • Liaising payroll information to the Finance team
  • Writing job descriptions and adverts, and posting them on the relevant platforms
  • Coordinating interviews
  • Supporting the HR Manager on a variety of HR projects
  • Note taking of HR meetings and Heads of Department meetings
  • Some event organisation - travel arranging, room bookings, coordinating lunches
