Are you a skilled leader? We're looking for a Maintenance Team Supervisor to coordinate and oversee our maintenance team, ensuring efficient responses to both reactive and planned maintenance tasks.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and triage daily maintenance requests, distributing tasks to team members.
  • Handle day-to-day maintenance activities, including furniture delivery, general repairs, and event setup.
  • Plan and organise room relocations, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Conduct and update risk assessments, ensuring safe working practices.
  • Supervise and motivate the maintenance team, providing training and performance appraisals.
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings to report on workload and projects.
  • Manage procurement of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Collaborate with other departments for events and tasks.
  • Provide emergency on-call cover as needed.

What We Need:

  • Experience leading a maintenance team.
  • Knowledge of multi-trade repairs and furniture assembly.
  • Strong organisational and carpentry skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic computer literacy (Outlook, Excel).
  • Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy items.
  • Valid driving license and ability to use a bicycle for site travel.
  • Relevant certifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, IPAF) are highly desirable.

Details:

  • Pay:Circa £36k per annum.
  • Hours:39 hours/week (Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4pm).
  • Holiday:25 days + 8 public holidays.
  • Meals:Free lunch provided during duty hours.
