As Insurance Claims Handler you will be working closely with the Commercial Account Executives to assist with negotiating with insurers and providing tailored insurance advice and first-class customer service to clients. Main duties will include:
- Administer a portfolio of client insurance plans in a professional and ethical manner following agreed procedures
- Handle a full range of commercial business across all classes
- You will be the clients first point of contact for cover queries, mid-term adjustments, quotations for additional insurances, document issues and many other tasks and projects.
- Enquiries come from existing clients, the web, commercial executives, introducers, by recommendations and up and cross selling
- Previous experience as an Insurance Claims Handler within the commercial insurance market
- Excellent customer service and administration skills are required
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Cert CII qualified ideally however you must be prepared to undertake the training to gain this professional qualifcation
- Confident in using MS Office and Insurance IT packages
